Enhancement Detail | from £300 | 1 - 1.5 days

The Paintwork Enhancement Detail involves a single stage machine polish using a fine finishing polish and soft polishing pad to restore a deep level of gloss to the paintwork, whilst dulling down the appearance of paint swirls. Typically, this service will remove in the region of 70% of the defects that are currently present on an older vehicle and it will present your vehicle in a far better light with increased clarity and sharp reflections. In return, this will provide you with a super easy to clean exterior and durable protection against the elements. Light swirl removal + super deep gloss! Includes the full external decontamination process and preparation. This service is also the bare minimum before any Gtechniq ceramic coatings are applied.

Two-Stage Paint Correction Detail | from £600 | 2 - 3 days

The Two-Stage Paint Correction Detail involves a two-stage machine polish using a medium abrasive cutting compound and cutting pad to remove medium depth defects such as paint swirls, oxidation and fine scratches. This is then followed with a refining stage to restore the paintwork back to an incredible deep gloss finish. This treatment will provide a major overhaul for the older vehicle and can achieve 'perfection' for the newer vehicle. Typically, 95% paint correction is met with this service for the used vehicle. I would highly recommend a Gtechniq ceramic coating following this treatment for simply amazing protection and an incredibly easy to clean vehicle for years to come.

Multi-Stage Paint Correction Detail | from £900 | 3 - 4 days

The Multi-Stage Paint Correction Detail involves a 3-5 stage machine polish which can involve a heavy cutting stage, medium cutting stage, fine finishing stage and an ultra-fine finishing stage. In terms of removing defects from the paintwork then time really is the answer. The more time I have with the machine polisher then the higher percentage of defects I am able to remove. Any defects that are deemed unsafe to fully remove will be dulled down so that they are less noticeable, although wet and dry sand paper is often deployed to aid in the process. Heavy swirl removal + maximum gloss.

Full Body Wet Sand Detail | from POA | 7 days +

The pinnacle of detailing is quite simply to flatten down the entire paintwork through the use of two stages of fine wet sanding on a Rupes orbital palm sander, (1500 grit and then 2500 grit) followed with bringing the finish back to life with a 3-5 stage machine polish. In terms of the finish achieved, then with this service, it simply cannot be bettered. Designed for the serious car enthusiast or vehicle collector, where perfection to a concourse standard is desired.

The Washing Process

Wheels cleaned inside-out including the brake callipers using a variety of brushes and a safe wheel cleaner.
Wheels fully decontaminated to remove iron fallout and tar deposits.
Arches cleaned and exhaust tips cleaned.
Door shuts and sills pre-rinsed and cleaned using a soft detailing brush and APC.
Bodywork extensively washed using snow foam, the two-bucket method, prep shampoo and a Gtechniq wash mitt.
A soft detailing brush and APC is used to clean the grilles, badges, filler cap area and window sills etc.

Bodywork Decontamination

Two-stage decontamination process to remove iron fallout/ferrous contaminants and tar deposits from all areas of paintwork.
Snow foam wash to ensure decontamination chemical remnants are fully removed.
Paintwork, windows and lights are clay barred to remove all final surface contamination.
Vehicle dried using soft microfibre drying towels.
Gaps and crevices blown dry to remove trapped water and to eliminate any drips.

Machine Polishing

Plastic trim and any delicate areas are masked using 3M tape to avoid polish stains.
A full set of paint depth readings are taken for the paint correction services.
Polish and pad testing to figure out the most effective combination for your paint type and level of defects.
1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 stage machine polish with any isolated wet sanding work carried out over the entire vehicle with consistent IPA wipe downs to monitor the true results of correction.
Completion of the machine polishing stages when the desired finish is achieved.
Paintwork wiped down with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) to remove polish oils and residue to form the ideal surface for wax or ceramic coating adhesion.

Wax / Protection

Swissvax Shield is a luxury carnauba wax enriched with none stick PTFE in order to create an ingenious protection shield for your paintwork. Thanks to the proverbial "Teflon-pan-effect" dirt and insects barely can't adhere at all to the as smooth as glass paintwork surface, keeping the daily driver protected for up to 6 months.
