History
Hi, I'm Joe Phillips - owner/operator of JP Details - Staffordshire. The passion for detailing cars began in 2006 after purchasing my first vehicle, a 1999 Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec SE. I instantly became fond of keeping it clean, which led to an ever-growing interest in detailing. I established the business part-time in 2012 and after receiving great feedback from my customers, I decided to take the business full-time at the start of 2016.
Training
I undertook a 3-day training course which is accredited by the IMI (institute of the motoring industry) in 2016, to build on the skills that I had self-taught. The course was undertaken to further my knowledge in advanced machine polishing techniques, wet sanding and ceramic coatings. I am now classed as a fully qualified automotive detailer. Over the years, I have worked on a variety of vehicles from daily drivers, classic cars, motorbikes to supercars and I treat each vehicle with the highest level of workmanship, for a price that suits you.
Detailing Studio
The detailing studio in Stafford provides a professional and controlled environment to transform the appearance of your vehicle. The premises is alarmed and insured for vehicles with a value of up to £150k. I can provide you with the best advice from years of experience in terms of which detailing treatment is best suited for your vehicle and then it would be down to you to decide, how long you want me to spend, because the sky really is the limit with detailing. You can visit me at the unit so I can assess your vehicles condition and discuss the options with yourself free of charge, based on the vehicle being respectively clean. Although you can simply just book in by email, contact message or phone call. The Detailing Studio is currently closed.
Mobile service
The mobile service is self-sufficient with its own water and power supply covering Staffordshire and the whole of the UK, providing a convenient, hassle free and thorough service at your home or work. If there's a bad weather forecast for your particular day (provided that there isn't excessive wind) I will bring a 3-meter by 4.5-meter gazebo to offer shelter from the elements, to ensure that your vehicle is professionally treated. I also welcome cars, vans and motorbikes to be valeted in/at the unit in Stafford.
Insurance
JP Details – Staffordshire are comprehensively insured for public liability, product liability, vehicle damage and vehicle storage. All of the products that I use have been tried and tested over a number of years and are all used in conjunction with professional equipment. My favourite brands are Swissvax, Gtechniq, Auto finesse, Meguiars and Rupes and I mainly use those products. They are of a premium nature and are safe for all types of vehicle surfaces.

PVD are the national professional valeters and detailers trade association who vet their members to ensure that we are skilled, proven and insured. I am a proud member so you can rest assure that your vehicle will be in safe and caring hands, whilst in my care.
Dr. ColourChip are the world’s number 1 for car paint touch up repair kits. I'm a qualified Dr. ColourChip UK technician, so all of your paint touch up requirements can be catered for by myself. Nothing major though please, only stone chip repairs as that is all the products are designed for.
Black Pearl Trim & Tyre Armour offered me an accreditation to become a part of their approved trade network after watching my YouTube video about reviewing their product. The tyre dressing will last for 6 months, which is approximately 5X longer than any other tyre dressing that I have ever used.
