My Costs

Back when I started the business in 2012, I would charge per job regardless of how long I would spend on the car. I would always spend far too long on every vehicle and I wasn’t making enough cash to make it a sustainable business model. I soon realised that something had to change.

In 2016, I swapped over to charging by the hour which has proved successful ever since. This keeps things fair for you the customer and also for me the detailer/valeter.

I still quote for the job as a whole where I find out what the vehicle is, its current condition, location and service required. With 15 years’ experience of being in the business, I am able to let you know a realistic/accurate quote before accepting the job, so that you and I are both happy.

I charge £35 p/h for all detailing and valeting work to keep things simple. I am a very hard worker and an absolute perfectionist. You won’t see me sitting around wasting time to charge more. I’m a very honest guy.

I use only the best products, tools and equipment from the detailing industry to achieve the best and longest lasting finish for your vehicle. Which cost money, so these have to be covered.

I’m willing to travel across the UK to attend to car’s as well as within my own county of Staffordshire. For customers further afield, I would have to add on a traveling fee which is essentially my hourly rate. So, 1 hour there and back would be X1 £35, and so on. Customers within Staffordshire have no travelling fee added at all.​
