If you’re just about to put your car up for sale, a pre-sale valet is not only going to ensure that the car receives tonnes of interest due to how pristine it’s looking, but will also increase the cars value on the private market.

The only people buying dirty cars nowadays are the ones that want to clean them up and make a profit on them themselves. Invest your cash into a Pre-Sale Valet and keep all of the extra pennies for yourself. At the very least the cost of the valet can be thrown on top of the cars value, because lots of car buyers would love to buy a beautifully prepared example.

The Pre-Sale Valet is a versatile service to meet your requirements, however listed below is what I would recommend before putting your car up for sale.

Exterior

​

• Extensive snow foam two-bucket wash including the cleaning of all gaps and crevices with a detail brush and APC including the filler cap area.

• Wheels fully decontaminated including the inner rim and brake callipers.

• Door and boot shuts and sills cleaned using APC and a soft detail brush.

• Tar deposits chemically removed from the paintwork.

• Iron fallout treatment for the exterior to remove ferrous contamination (if required.)

• Clay bar treatment to the paintwork to remove all final surface contamination (if required.)

• Paintwork hand polished using Auto Finesse 3 in 1 (cleanse, polish, protect.)

• Single stage machine polish to remove light swirl marks and to dramatically increase the gloss level at extra cost.

• Engine bay fully cleaned and all plastics dressed.

• Tyres dressed.

• Windows polished.

• Exhaust tips and chrome trim polished.

Interior

​

• Interior thoroughly vacuumed and dusted including the boot.

• Plastic, fabric and leather surfaces are cleaned.

• Plastic surfaces are dressed with Auto Finesse Spritz. (A lovely matte finish with a vanilla scent.)

• Interior windows, glass and dials cleaned.

• JP Details air freshener applied (if required.)

• Photos taken for the ad if you require them. (I’m a keen automotive photographer.)

*Of course, a Pre-Sale Valet is not limited to the above and it could simply be a case of carrying out a bronze, silver or gold valeting package to prepare the vehicle for its sale. An Enhancement Detail or a Protection Detail would take the exterior’s condition to the next level though and it would be recommended, for in short, higher value cars.
